Recipe: Vegan Sponge


Vegan Sponge

This is a really easy and good one for doing as a base to a cake - marry it up with butter icing and jam inside or make into muffins and syringe into the middle some jam and/or butter icing!

100g Vitalite
150g Caster Sugar
200g Self Raising Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
200ml Oat milk
Vanilla Essence


Put everything into a bowl and mix!

Place into a greased baking tin or silicone muffin cases.

Bake at 180c for 30 mins - less if doing muffins - check that a skewer comes out clean

It should be golden, firm and springy
